Αττικό Ζωολογικό πάρκο

The zoo spans a total area of 200 acres, housing more than 2,000 animals from 350 different species.

The operation began in May 2000, initially as a Bird Park, the third largest bird collection in the world (1,100 birds from 300 different species), farm animals for younger guests and 3 very impressive large cages – thumbnails of 3 continents – in where visitors can stroll and admire the same ornithological fauna and flora.

The future plans also include expansion of the “Deinosafropolis” – a Museum of Evolution, with emphasis in the Age of Dinosaurs and the “Okeanopolis” a standard aquarium.
